Substitute for the SSOCC The coils are made with 100% organic Japanese cotton wicks and genuine Nickel (NI-200) wire for the 0.5-ohm coils. These features allow you to monitor and control the coils' temperature.
The Kangertech SSOCC Replacement Coils represent an updated version of the Kanger OCC coils, featuring a stainless steel casing for enhanced durability. Crafted with Nichrome wire, these coils boast a cylindrical shape, minimizing space within the tank for efficient vaping.
Designed for compatibility with devices like the Nebox, Topbox, and Subvod, the SSOCC coils offer improved performance and are poised to replace the OCC coils across Kanger's product line. They are also backward compatible, ensuring seamless integration with tanks that currently use OCC coils.
For a 0.5ohm coil, a wattage range of approximately 15 to 30 watts is recommended for optimal performance and flavour production. Adjust within this range to find your preferred vaping experience.
The Kangertech SSOCC 1.2ohm coil operates best within a wattage range of 10 to 26 watts, providing a satisfying Mouth To Lung (MTL) vaping experience. Adjust the wattage to find your desired balance of flavour and vapor production.
The main difference between a 0.6ohm and a 1.2ohm coil is the resistance level, which affects the vaping experience. A 0.6ohm coil typically provides more vapor and a warmer vape, while a 1.2ohm coil offers a tighter draw and is ideal for Mouth To Lung (MTL) vaping with less vapor production. Adjust based on personal preference.
To calculate coil wattage, use the formula: Watts = (Voltage^2) / Resistance. Ensure your device's voltage output matches your coil's resistance for safe and optimal vaping.
