This e-liquid can be used on its own for taste and/or habit, but if you still want a nicotine hit, add the optional 18mg nicotine 10ml shots; 5 will give you 0.15% nicotine, and 10 will give you 0.3% nicotine. If you want, you can add Nicotine Salt, which, in addition to preventing throat burn, also enhances the nicotine, which is 20mg.
